Barons Palace Hotel in Oudtshoorn reveals to her guests an era of affluence and opulence. The Hotel was built at the turn of the century by a wealthy Ostrich Baron.
The warm furnishings, large airy rooms, wooden staircase and huge log fires in Winter evoke memories of the bygone Victorian era, when the ostrich feather trade was at its height.
The Baron's Palace hotel consists out of two unique sections. The original hotel is perfectly maintained and used on a daily basis with a traditional victorian feel.
This portion of the hotel is straight out of a bygone area with large rooms, extensive use of wood and is situated in the original sandstone building dating back to 1872. The majestic old staircase lead to the first floor where we have nine rooms on offer
24 Pool rooms are part of the newer addition to the Baron's Hotel and build around the Pool Area. These rooms have a sleeping area and a loft area and are all en-suite with showers, air cons.

Six units have double beds with a single bed in the loft area, while the rest of the units are all equipped with twin beds and a single bed in the loft area. (All sleeping 3 guests per unit)
