Our Unique Beginnings

The journey of Mother Nature Products started with a vision—a vision to create an all-encompassing baby nappy system utilizing natural, organic, and recycled materials. This vision was ignited during our founder Joanne Austin's time in London, where the widespread use of cloth nappies intrigued her, even in the face of space constraints and limited sunlight.

Upon returning to South Africa, Joanne embarked on a mission to make sustainable parenting accessible to all. Armed with qualifications as a nursing sister and years of experience working with children, she not only became the "Eco Mom" but also contributed valuable insights through articles like "Green Baby Tips" in Natural Medicine magazine.

Why Choose Mother Nature Products:

Our reputation as a trusted supplier to retailers is built on several key pillars:

Ethical Manufacturing: We adhere to rigorous ethical manufacturing practices and prioritize the use of natural materials, championing local suppliers in the process.

Quality & Functionality: Our commitment to delivering high-quality, functional products ensures satisfaction for both parents and their little ones.

Bamboo Brilliance: We proudly employ silky-soft bamboo in our products, a sustainable alternative to traditional cotton. Bamboo boasts superior absorbency, durability, and natural antibacterial properties, all while being cultivated without harmful crop-spraying practices and utilizing less land area.

Our Vision:

A Commitment to a Greener Tomorrow

At Mother Nature Products, our vision extends beyond our products and into a future where eco-conscious living thrives. We actively contribute to our local community through various business, educational, and charitable initiatives (details available in our 'Contact Us' section). Our vision includes:

* Advocating for government regulations in nappy manufacturing that promote effective biodegradation before landfill disposal.

* Encouraging the use of biodegradable nappy liners that can be safely flushed in sewage systems.

* Promoting eco-friendly nappies, whether cloth or disposable, as the preferred choice for parents.

Our Mission:

Sustainability at the Core

Our mission at Mother Nature Products is to champion sustainable living while reducing waste. This mission includes:

* Crafting natural, chemical-free products that curtail landfill waste.

* Fostering local production, generating employment, and minimizing our carbon footprint.

* Creating durable, repairable, and energy-efficient products composed of recyclable materials to minimize environmental impact across the entire product lifecycle.
