Since 2003 it has been operating as an independent, private school and continues to provide excellent, outstanding pre-primary education.

We cater for children from 15 months – 6 years old (Grade R).

Kwaggasrand Nursery School is a Christian school with Christian norms and values. Children are taught to “follow in Jesus footsteps” by living according to Galatians 5:22-23 the Fruits of the Spirit : love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, kindness and self-control.

Our aim is to provide a safe, loving, nurturing and most of all an enjoyable environment where every child can reach his/her full potential and develop physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually. Every little step counts!Set in a magnificent garden, our facilities include sandpits, jungle gyms, a bakery, tea garden, bicycle track and lots of places to fantasize in the garden.

It offers the children an excellent balance between quiet and active areas.We use the most enjoyable ways of teaching and our classrooms are not just a place of books, crayons and papers. All the activities are structured to challenge and develop learning and creativity through play. Problem solving and thinking skills are encouraged every day.

Every child is allowed to develop at his or her own pace.We have qualified, motivated and well-trained teachers and assistants who helps us to reach our goals and who always puts the children first. They are dedicated to play an active part in your child’s daily life and to create a “Home away from Home.”

We are registered at the Department Of Social Development as well as the Gauteng Department of Education as an independent Grade R site.
