Nascer Do Sol

The resort accommodation comprises 14 chalets. The A-frame is ideal for a couple and the Octopus is the largest chalet. The remainder of the chalets accommodate four, five or six people. There are also 10 small wooden huts called baraccas scattered under the trees. These huts all make use of a central lapa and a second smaller kitchen with self-catering facilities. They are ideal for those who prefer to rough it.

The Nascer Do Sol Restaurant is ideal for those who prefer not to cook dinner. The menu has something for everybody with the specialty being seafood. There is also a small shop where visitors can get most of the necessities and toiletries without having to drive to Xai-Xai. The resort has a 24-hour power supply for guests’ convenience.

The activities at Nascer Do Sol include mainly snorkeling and fishing. There no air-fill facilities for scuba diving, although we can arrange a boat charter for those with their own equipment.

Beach: Nascer Do Sol has a lovely beach that is child friendly. The whole beach is protected by a reef that makes the swimming area safe for kids and the whole family. During low tide the water is calm an ideal for snorkeling

Restarant: Not in the mood for cooking? Why not try our restaurant? With a menu that offers something for everybody, our speciality remains, of course, seafood. From a simple fish & chips to our delicious seafood platter, we'll make sure it is a taste experience you'll not easy forget. The restaurant (La Veranda) is open from 8:00 to 22:00 daily.

The restaurant also has a television with DSTV in the bar area for all those sports fans.Shop: We have also added the convenience of a small shop to our facility. Here you may find all your basic necessities without the two hour round trip to Xai-Xai. From basic toiletries to cleaning materials to groceries, the shop will have it.

Wedding Venues: Nascer Do Sol offers a wide range of options when planning your dream day. Most popular is the wedding ceremony on the beach but the reception is done in our marquee tent. This is the safe option for all weather conditions.Conference Venues: The conference facilities at Nascer Do Sol can accommodate up to 40 people and is air conditioned.

This facility offers whiteboard with markers, a projector and screen and Wi-Fi facilities.

Family friendly: Nascer Do Sol offers a variety of things to do for the whole family, including a 18 hole putt-putt course. Our beach is suitable for an array of beach activities.
