Our modern, spacious and light-flooded set up offers 2 individual holiday homes with private terraces and gardens and entrances leading from a courtyard. Both houses are connected through a common pool area featuring a large lemon tree incorporated in the pool deck, offering automated awnings for sun protection.
Situated in a quiet and secure circle setting with parking behind an automated gate, it is only a short stroll to famous Long Beach, the surfer-eldorado along the coastline of the Southern Atlantic in the Cape Peninsula, on the way to Cape Point. Close enough to smell and hear the sea, this enclosed setting is ideal for holidays for the larger family or for workshops and retreats with a total of 5 bedrooms, plenty of private space and 2 large common open areas, also perfectly suited for workshops and retreats. All our rooms are ground level and wheel-chair friendly. The large glass fronts and high ceilings allow for plenty of light with an easy flow from indoors to outdoors, also an ideal setting for photo shoots.
Spend time to rejuvinate in the relaxed and eco-friendly seaside village of Kommetjie, where you can still walk to the local shops and pubs. Our salt-water pool and bathrooms are connected to solar power heating and our garden has been set up in a waterwise way with both indegionous and herbal plants and trees. We also have our own veggie patch. Enjoy healthy living and a lifestyle in natural surroundings in the most beautiful city of the world - Cape Town / South Africa.
Catering for worskhops and retreats is offered on request - contact us with your personal needs and requirements. Also ideal for recuperation time with your personal caretaker. Here is an overview of the 2 units, which can be booked individually or jointly and are also available for longer stays.
ACCOMMODATION
MAIN HOUSE - Modern Loft Style
240m² single storey house with high ceilings and large open plan kitchen with gas oven, workspace island, large bar counter, dining area and two connected lounge areas with fire place, piano, Wifi and reading corner. Perfect as workshop space also for yoga, cooking, various healing modalities or talks and discussions in beautiful setting.
Total of 3 air-conditioned bedrooms for 6 persons (more possible on request):
* Bedroom 1- Master Bedroom: double bed with open bathroom featuring double walk-in shower and bath tub, seperate toilet and walk in cupboard. Leads to both the pool deck and the back garden with veggie patch and an outdoor pool shower.
* Bedroom 2 & 3 with wooden mezzanine level: double beds and joint bathroom with toilet and shower (additional persons possible with sleeper couch due to split level) or perfect as private treatment rooms. Both leading to the back garden with large glass sliding doors.
HOLIDAY APARTMENT - Modern European Style
120m² single storey bungalow with European modern furnishings and design, all European plugs, featuring a separate kitchen with eye-level oven and induction cooking unit leading to a private garden and barbeque area. Large open lounge and dining area with sliding doors to the pool deck and double sleeper couch for additional guests. Free Wifi, air conditioner and automated awnings.
Total of 2 bedrooms for 4 - 6 persons (sleeper couch in lounge)
* Bedroom 1 - Master Bedroom: 1 double bed / en-suite bathroom with double walk-in shower, double basin, toilet and bidet. Sliding glass doors leading to the pool deck, built in wardrobe. Air conditioner and automated awning.
* Bedroom 2: 2 single beds in twin set up, can be moved together / en-suite bathroom with single walk in shower and toilet. Glass door leading to private garden and barbeque area. Built in cupboards and safe.
KOMMETJIE
Kommetjie’s Long Beach with over 5 km of white sand is popular among surfers and only a short stroll away. Small shops and restaurants are within walking distance (15 min). Gourmet restaurants, wine farms and shopping center are only a 10 – 15 min drive away. Airport and city are about 45 minutes.
