Founded by David, who envisioned a sustainable and comfortable family holiday experience, the resort began construction in 1983, with the final units completed by 1986.

Situated just 200 meters from two beautiful and safe swimming beaches—Kidd’s Beach and Peter Pan Bay—Peter Pan Place is an ideal retreat for families and groups. With 15 self-catering units accommodating up to six guests each, our resort is perfect for creating lasting memories. The units are arranged in a crescent shape, ensuring privacy and breathtaking views of the ocean, framed by lush palm-studded lawns. Enjoy our recreational facilities, including a swimming pool, table tennis, darts, and a playground for children, all secured within a safe perimeter.

Originally zoned for hotel use, David’s commitment to preserving the natural beauty of Leisure Bay led to the rezoning of the property, allowing us to maintain the area's indigenous vegetation while creating our unique crescent-shaped units.

Leisure Bay boasts a mild climate, making it an appealing destination throughout the year. One of the highlights of our resort is the opportunity for rock and surf fishing, particularly rewarding during the winter months. From May to August, guests can experience the incredible sardine run. Nature lovers can observe Southern Right and Humpback whales from August to October, while our expansive beaches are perfect for leisurely walks and exploring historic shipwreck artifacts.
